Both smell and feel like spring to me. Reminds me of a place I worked that had an arboretum on campus. Walking to meetings in late spring, light rain and a breeze. Vibes 💚 (perfume and arboretum, not the job). #perfumesky

Today beat my ass. I ordered sushi on the walk home, walked in my door and poured bourbon, and headed for the balcony. I will be collecting my sushi and then eating it on the balcony. Shower then bed. Are the planets doing something today because wtf?!

That last part is why I just passed on a house. Seller is the one who rehabbed it. Very nice "handy" man, who I will probably contract to build raised garden beds and a deck when I settle on a place...but his renovations inside the home were "interesting".

This is one reason I put off buying a house until now. I wanted to be in a position where I could get things fixed and not have to eat ramen to afford it. Because the most I can do on my own is fixing/replacing wobbly toilet seats 🤷🏾‍♀️

One sister is taking initiative to plan and make reservations for our Chicago trip. Another sister is headed to Dayton for business and driving to spend the day with me in Detroit. My friend baked in time for me to visit a perfume shop during her 50th bday weekend in Miami. I’m feeling loved 🥰

#SOTD Blues by Zernell Gillie. It’s been a couple months since my last wear and the coffee is more pronounced in the opening. Black coffee and florals dry down to spicy resins and slightly sweet incense. Perfect choice for this rainy, cold day. I will say the oud is a whisper at best. #perfumesky
