Amos is my favourite character over all. his way of thinking means he can be disproportionate with violence but also quick to forgive. Him convincing Holden to let Peaches join the crew is a favourite scene. Its nice to see character who thinks like this who is definitively a good person.

he space battles are beautiful the whay the pdc fire whips around like ribons in particular. The way the status quo is always changing makes the universe feel alive. Side characters wind up being important seasons later, enemies become friends.

they spin the Rocci end over end in season 1 (which is thought was realy cool) then never again, they always default to mag boots or acceleration.

its nice and when physics changes in the gateway. it feels significant and alien because physics of space travel are so firmly established.

but those are my only complaints. The lack of "artificial gravity" was refreshing. Thats always been a little bugbear of mine, I get that its expensive to shoot scenes like that but still,

(also the first half of season 3 felt off? like the sets and the cgi felt cheep, and the writing was weirdly "quippy". Fortunately it got better)
(also the Rocci's centre console keeps changing like its red-dwarf)
