NEW: Keir Starmer told a political cabinet meeting today that "the whole of the Labour Party wants Anas Sarwar to become First Minister and will fight for a Labour government in Scotland".
Comes a day after Sarwar called on Starmer to resign.
Keir Starmer is decent man doing the best for our country. Won a huge mandate to repair the damage of 14 years of Tory rule: a wrecked economy, wrecked public finances, wrecked public services.
Will take more than 18 months to repair. He has the full support of Camden Labour every step of the way.

Great to attend the opening of the new Liddell Place shared workspace with @richardolszewski.bsky.social. A fantastic initiative from Labour-led Camden’s Community Investment Programme with 14 affordable units. This will bring employment, economic benefit and growth to the #WestHampstead area.

Overall, the combination of tax rises and giveaways since last year’s Budget is progressive.
Incomes for households in the bottom half of the distribution have increased by 1.0 per cent and incomes for households in the top half fell by 0.7 per cent.
