hi! just finished the term! yayy!

anyways, on my break i finished the 90 skins, check out my tumblr @handonthemouse will upload later. Also will have a speedbuild video up on my youtube channel @handonthemousesims

just finished a major task irl, gonna take a break by having a snack and watching sims 2 videos on youtube 🍿

comparing the sims 2 maxis skins, oepu's og skins and then my edit of their cc skin for default replacing (made face shadows less intense, changed the eyelids, saturated all the skins, lightened skin 1 and made skins 3 and 4 wayy darker)

i did a google images search and tell me why most of the top results are ai... that needs to be regulated bc it's alongside real images. there should be a filter at least

like ughh look how pixelated it is, somehow the saturated and pale versions of skin 8 look acceptable, its just the natural versions that need fixing.

okay so i kinda went crazy with my skintone project. I noticed that it was too saturated, so i desaturated it, but i felt like i wanted to desaturate it again so... 90 skintones now, but all the natural skin 8s are pixelated😔so i gotta fix that.

gonna assign them values next.

editing and recoloring my favorite sims 2 skin cc, WIP. Still have alot of deadlines irl, but I just finished one major so thought I'd have fun by working on my sims 2.

Credit to python/jupyter lol, I started w 4 skintones and the code made it to 30 (now way i'd do this manualy!)

sidenote - late 00s early 2010s was when games really peaked so i'm so happy now that i have the hardware to actually play them like there's so many good games from that era

i always wanted a Sims (relationships and work) and GTA (open world go-anywhere & explore) mix, so i'm excited for Inzoi

somebody needs to make a sims 2 dumpster diving mod where there's a chance doing it will result in a random bnb object going into your inventory. It'll work so well for my rags to riches gameplay pleaseeeee somebody do it cuz idk how

i wish aliens in the sims 2 had more special traits. i downloaded a mod i think that makes them be able to disguise their appearance, and there's a freeze ray mod but idk

since #sims2 only has 4 skintones, i was able to make a python code that filled in the gaps, so between skintone 1 and 2, it made 1 middle skin, then 2 and 3, it made 3 skintones too, same with 3 and 4. now i have 11 skintones! I want to add darker and lighter shades too! but im so happy this works!

just discovered the feed feature on this app, although i wish it was one combined instead of multiple tabs, but it's still good
