I don't remember much of the 21/22 season relegation fight from mid April due to an unwanted stay in ICU! We went thru it again the following two seasons, which I do remember! The way we came together and fought for the club, while not ever wanting to do it again, was so special!
Pickford's save today makes his ones against United, Wolves and Villa seem bang average in comparison (and they weren't in the slightest!)
laces that get people arriving/departing by Hackney taxi and don't have a designated, properly designed drop-off/pick-up point that makes it easier for drivers and passengers in wheelchairs, buggies, and with mobility aids etc to use burn my head out! They aren't hard to create!
Always gonna miss someone with Grealish's ability tbf. I think it was way more obvious today compared to the other games. Feel for Armstrong playing wide left when it's not his position at all
Apart from the obvious fullback situation, which is never ending, felt as though today was the first game we have really missed Grealish since his injury.
Having to purchase a concert ticket and then submit an application to possibly be allocated a companion ticket is a new process for me and not one I am particularly liking. Won't be buying tickets for events where I have to justify my disability and access requirements again!
My take home thoughts on today were it was a game of two halves again, Just like Brighton was. Not ideal I know, but not being out of games in the second half will always allow for you to get back into it and we did that again today, rightly or wrongly, I'm not that bothered tbh!
Win win whichever option you go for IMO
Compared to a 12:30pm or a 8pm KO which happen on Saturdays as well, I am happier that it is a 5:30pm KO. Obviously, 3pm would have been preferred but don't seem to have them when we play Chelsea at home very often
Think we all were 😂
Praise be, we will have a Saturday league game at home this side of Easter!!! Nice one, Arsenal
If the McNeil deal goes thru, whoever brokered the deal to get us £20 million deserves a pay rise! Can't really dislike McNeil, played a massive part in us staying up for the last 2 or 3 seasons, will always be grateful for Brighton & Forest away. Shame about Leeds last week tho
My take home thought from being at Brighton today was they scored from one of their two best chances, we scored from one of our two best chances. A draw was probably the fairest result but I can't help enjoy that draw given how late we got it
In the main, they deffo are
Gotta lot of love for the Summerville goal, but I do have a soft spot for a good headed goal
Said it for months but that clear and obvious threshold no longer exists when it comes to VAR involvement in games. Everything is looked at to the nth degree regardless of whether there is a mistake or not
I'm in the last man standing competition for my nephew's footy team, and halfies in my brother's work one. For this weekend my selections were Villa and Liverpool. Do I care I have been knocked out of both, do I hell 🤣😡
Massively frustrating again tonight. The lack of pacy players we have and the slowness of build up play from certain players is killing us
A complete and utter shitshow from start to finish!
For me, I really like it in terms of improved accessibility features and services. Still improvements that can be made but for me I have a more accessible and inclusive matchday now
Same to you and the family, Vinny!
Happy new year lad! Here's hoping we are sharing a lager or two on an European tour 🙏 🤞🏻
I'm really not a fan of New Years tbh. It's all just a bit meh and too much for me.
I hope 2026 is a good and kind one for all.
Oh and up the Toffees too 💙🥂🍻
It wasn't perfect but much better sightlines and easier access to an accessible toilet
Well, it has all changed at the City Ground for visiting disabled fans! No more arguments with stewards and photographers blocking our view now!
Disappointing as it was to not get the +3 today, there were a some plus points...Iroegbunam played decent again as did Jimmy G and there was a clean sheet. There were bits of positiveness from Dibling, but having KDH, Ndiaye, and Grealish out was very costly for us.
Bed has definitely called now. Fair play to anyone pulling an all-nighter to watch the rest of the cricket or that laughable effort of a fight, you are braver or stupider than me!
Work in 2025 - all completed!
Bring on the festivities, more sleep (hopefully) and not so much time sitting in my wheelchair all day!
Will buy more doughnuts to help fund this transfer, and I don't even like them that much!
