Honestly I haven’t actually gotten to playing it yet, but my understanding is that automation is available for a lot of things (including systems similar to those in eu4), there’s just more going on in general, so even with the automation options it’ll probably still feel like a lot
They added the automation in part because there’s that many more things to potentially keep track of in eu5. Still might be worth trying, just keep that in mind
