I'm noticing lots of young composers hung up on making "beats" and never trying to learn how to craft a melody. I'm judging hundreds of scores for the IGMC and grading countless university assignments that are overrun with bland, forgettable beginnings of something that could be cool but never is. 😑

I produced and did scoring and sound design for an educational game/ motion simulator ride for NOAA called Wild Earth: Deep Ocean. It was in aquariums and zoos around the world. Such amazing people there and a rewarding game project I'll never forget.
