Woah! Iโm jealous!
โ๏ธlove this fucking band!
TODAY! Wed. 11/3 @ 7:00 pm (GMT) / 3:00 pm (EST) The NYHC Chronicles LIVE! Ep. #420 Frank Ferrer (The Beautiful / Psychedelic Furs / Love Spit Love / The Compulsions / Guns N' Roses / Pssr).
If you see this, post a drummer that starts with S
My mate Adam in the centre. Iโll let you make your mind up but it wasnโt called crust punk for nothing ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Both ๐คฃ๐คฃ
I donโt think either of them had been washed for weeks ๐คฃ๐คฃ
My mate traded his Deviated Instinct shirt for Danny Lilkerโs COC shirt when we were hanging around at a show. It makes me laugh when I see Nuclear Assault photos from the 80s where heโs wearing the DI shirt ๐คฃ
They left their hardcore roots firmly back in the 80s but I like a stoner rock!
This new record is sounding immenseโฆ
Pretty much.
He has the vocabulary of a six year old.
Itโs quite simple. None of those clubs exist. Itโs been decimated in the UK. It was an established scene for decades alongside the university circuit. It all died somewhere in the mid-noughties.
There was a whole tier of bands that routinely toured the club scene in the 80 who were never going to breakout in a million years but drew a loyal fanbase. That scene just doesnโt exist anymore.
They were a permanent fixture on the club circuit at the time. When that record went to #1, it was a complete shock.
Ta-dah!
The next record was even betterโฆ๐๐ป

โYo! Put some bloody Counting Crowes onโ.
Live it was Cozy Powell when he was in Whitesnake.
Morat cropped up in a pod I was watching the other week. Heโs doing something mad now which escapes me..?
Bezos wants a return on his investment! ๐คฃ๐คฃ
That was the irony. I stopped buying it because it never really featured the bands I was into save for Faith No More and the odd record/live review. Then Nevermind happened and everyone I listened to was a Kerrang band.
Iโd stopped reading Kerrang at that point. It was very much an magazine of the 80s for me. I pretty much hated metal by 1990 ๐คฃ๐คฃ
