it can happen with screen printing when you have interference between the printing media and the design. this can cause unwanted patterns in shading, but is also helpful for blending cmyk into many colors.

it also can also happen with patterns rendered to video due to compression.

took me like a week of making stuff and trashing it, but the old forums have a lot of helpful info for conversts. i set up a dense / slim printing template for zines and a book template with more whitespace. i'll probably post something i make in my store eventually, idk.

just me, stoned, with a 100 page manuscript and some notes. putting them into rows like a little zen garden.

i haven't done prepress work professionally for a long time, but i've been laying out some zines & short books in Affinity Publisher, trying to learn the new software after dumping Adobe, and it is such bliss compared to web development. holy shit.
