Every technological leap promises liberation, yet somehow the ladder keeps getting pulled up behind the climbers. #Ai may expand productivity, but productivity without access simply concentrates wealth. If machines do more of the work, the real question becomes who still gets to work at all?
I managed to chalk up a solid 6 hours on Resident Evil Requiem yesterday and it’s really good. Engrossing, true to the roots of the game and a lot of fun. I’m just really disappointed I can’t play it for long in handheld mode on the #Switch2 because it smashes the battery

I started Resident Evil Requiem on the Nintendo Switch 2 this weekend, and while I can totally appreciate the gameplay and graphics and general quality, it’s absolutely spanking the battery on the handheld… which, in my view, somewhat defeats the objective of porting these games to Switch.
Looks stunning. Familiar and yet with a visual twist I can totally get behind.

Took my son to see ‘Dave’ at the o2 this evening — he’s a big fan, I know absolutely nothing about the fella. Came home very impressed. A really creative, energetic, magical show. Amazing talent.
(BTW, the camera on the iPhone 17 is ‘insane’)
He’s the best of a very bad, unqualified bunch.
