Unfortunately, I don’t have a YouTube channel to verify myself as human, but it’s fine. I do believe one day the AT Protocol community will build a YouTube competitor one of those days. So I’m crossing my finger on that.

But who knows maybe I’ll have a new YouTube channel by then.

Hmmm… hopefully this will be the last post on this account, as I promise to myself before. but I might create a new Spark account for the second time ever but for uploading Minecraft content. I’m actually good with building designs so you may be interested to see that one of those days.

Now I thought about it, I probably will use this account for live streaming on @stream.place whenever I decide to play Minecraft.

Let me know if you want me to make a Minecraft videos on @sprk.so I’m sure they would mind if I post gaming content on there.

It’s unclear to me if I should create a new spark account

Hello, Madman here. I recently deleted all of latest videos on my account, BUT my first video of a bottle flip is still up, and I’m happy to be a first uploader as a non Spark employee, so that’s why I kept that video up, and don’t worry that video won’t go away anytime soon.

Our short-term strategy is a TikTok-familiar experience. A new US-owned TikTok poses censorship risks, and people will look for alternatives beyond Meta. We believe this can catalyse ATProto adoption, where open feeds, not apps, control content. Long term we’ll lean into ATProto’s unique interop UX.

@joebasser.com I'm not sure if you're reading this, but I have a single question in mind. How do you discover AT Protocol, and what makes you decide to make a TikTok-like app?

Hey Joe, when will this app be released or even fix most of the bugs soon?

If I make an AT Protocol social app, I might replace the like system with an up-and-down voting system like Reddit.

Normally as content creators, we still use X to reach out to YouTube and other platforms while those teams are not on Bluesky yet. Maybe that might change, who knows?

I was thinking about making a new account on Spark but it didn't let me sign up or anything, just giving me a simple error.

I may have lost because @cynicalelysian.sprk.so is 50 followers ahead of me but at least I'll be reminded as number 2 most followed on Spark.

I actually check my old uploads on Spark and I notice that most of the videos just cut off before reaching the end limit. Disappointing?

I don't know if Spark Social should be "Sprk So" because it's still "Spark" in my opinion. If I were running the platform, I could rename it to something that comes into my mind.

You could be right on that. I thought there isn't a reason to rebrand the name, but once you point that out, is reasonable enough to think about it.

I honestly have no idea what @sprk.so had to deal with this.
