Young authors writing older characters: 70 is not that old. Pls drop the nostalgia for Elvis & fear of smart phones. A 70-yo just left her corporate job a year ago & has been on the internet longer than you have. She isnβt afraid to drive on the freeway, sheβs commuted for decades. π
I've seen a lot of people dying in my job. But I've not been present throughout an experience of ordinary dying until now. If interested to know more this film by Kathryn Mannix is spot on. It's sad but it's really not so bad. With a book, cup of coffee, family chat.

A thought for today:
Social media can be a negative place to be. We have no obligation to consume negativity but we can also regard bad news as an incentive for us to produce more kindness, compassion & love for ourselves and others.
Be a factory that transforms thorns to flowers.
