I tried first to do a thick trianglular edge on the collar, and then something wavy, but when both failed I had the idea of doing this because it was similar to scalloped edges and it could be done cleanly by folding the edge before curving the lame
Thank you! I sort of ad-libbed the whole thing, besides wanting a gorget that was fantasy but inspired by that late-gothic to Maximilian transition, nothing was clearly planned from the beginning. -

a sphinx with iridescent (ish) feathers and hair, decked out in jewlery, stands infront of a large stone (which is a meteor) ingraved with draconic (demonic?) creatures, some bells and scripts. lore section: the sphinxes are daughters of Kaos who all live in various mountain ranges around the world. They are mother of all harpies, who snatches her prey for her to.. uh have more babies with and or eat maybe? currently the sphinxes of the Kobathic mountains are in a precarious situasion due to reasource hungry colonist have set up shop by the Lazawardi coast - and they do not respect the harmony of the land, enslaving both nature and man.
