I think we have been witnessing a soft launch of Commissioner Wax.

It makes sense. There have been multiple op-eds by Simington and Wax over the past few weeks covering various issues. Commissioners don’t typically coauthor policy pronouncements with their staff members.

Just speculation at this point. Comm Daily said this about a replacement: “there's some speculation that the White House could choose Simington's recently hired chief of staff.”

Word on the street is that Wax will be replacing Simington at the FCC…

Right, similar network usage fees haven’t quite worked out in S. Korea. The FCC dropped the ball by not also reforming the contribution side when it changed the distribution side.

But you are right about the change in circumstances at the FCC. None of this may matter when they decide to make Starlink the national broadband provider.
