Whether you’re at the gas pump, the doctor’s office, or the grocery store, you’re feeling the impact of Trump’s affordability crisis.

I delivered $500,000 last year for upgrades to the #Tigard Library 📚
Mayor Hu and I stopped by to see how these federal dollars are being put to good use. Hear from us to learn more about the importance of this project 🎧⤵️
March is Music In Our Schools Month, a reminder that arts education helps students grow into well-rounded leaders 🎶
But we can't build a strong future while dismantling the Dept of Education. I'll keep calling out the Trump Admin's attacks & fighting to protect programs that our students deserve.
I met with #OR06 veterans with the Wounded Warrior Project, where we discussed improving mental health services for those who sacrificed so much to defend our nation.
As the daughter of a veteran, I'm committed to ensuring veterans & their families have access to the resources they need to thrive.
Thanks, President Trump, for making life even harder and more costly for Americans 👍
#Sherwood Mayor Tim Rosener & City Manager Craig Sheldon visited my D.C. office, & we talked about everything from water system resiliency to making our streets safer for residents.
I’m committed to working with local leaders to make life better for you & your neighbors. Thanks for dropping by!
REMINDER: My office is accepting rolling applications for internships in both my #Salem and #Tualatin offices!
Applications are open until March 13, 2026.
Getting enough quality sleep is so important to taking care of your mental wellbeing 😴
During #SleepAwarenessWeek, save and share some helpful tips that may help you improve your sleep hygiene! #MentalHealthMonday
Don’t forget to set your clocks forward! Daylight Saving Time has begun, and it’s time to spring forward ⏰
Losing an hour of sleep is never fun, but I’m looking forward to longer, brighter days across Oregon’s beautiful Willamette Valley ☀️
On this International Women’s Day, we recommit to our fight for a better future—one that protects care, defends survivors, lifts up families, and supports all women.
We won’t back down.
Happy #InternationalWomensDay!
We've come a long way in the fight for women's rights, but our work is not done.
My @demwomencaucus.bsky.social colleagues and I won’t give up fighting to build a better future for our daughters.
I secured $850,000 in federal funding to build a new sidewalk in #Keizer, just two blocks from an elementary school, so our children can safely cross the road.
From pedestrians to commuters, this necessary improvement will give everyone peace of mind that they can reliably travel on this road.
Promises made. Promises broken.
The Trump Administration said it was adding millions of jobs to our nation's workforce, but we lost 92,000 jobs last month alone. The U.S. has net lost 19,000 jobs since last May.
Ensuring our seniors get the care they deserve is a priority.
I joined the Oregon Health Care Association for a tour of Marquis Tualatin, a post-acute rehabilitation and long-term care campus. We discussed funding for long-term senior care and the skilled nursing facility workforce pipeline.
It’s #EmployeeAppreciationDay — a time to recognize the hardworking people who keep our communities running.
Thank you to all workers for the effort, dedication, and care you bring, which allows our communities to thrive.
My Oregon delegation colleagues and I made this demand very clear in a letter we sent to DHS last month in opposing any plans to expand ICE facilities in Oregon, EVER.
Their abuse of power needs to stop. (2/2)
Oregonians never wanted this detention facility to begin with. I’m glad ICE has scrapped plans to build a facility in Newport, but we need guarantees from ICE that they will NEVER build a detention center in our state. (1/2)
Child care should not be as much as a mortgage, but sadly, for many everyday families, that is their reality.
I am working with my @newdems.bsky.social colleagues to deliver real relief to families' wallets so they can spend more time with their children rather than worrying about their finances.
I met with Oregon Food Bank & Marion Polk Food Share to discuss my work supporting food banks in the Farm Bill.
Our food banks were not prioritized in Republicans’ Big Ugly Bill or their rushed Farm Bill.
I'll keep fighting until food banks have the support they need to keep our communities fed.
Our bill would create additional guardrails to ban trading by public officials and their families, regulate any insider influence, and broaden ethics rules so that the people in power are motivated by serving the American people, not personal profit. (2/2)
Members of Congress, federal officials, and their family members should never be allowed to profit from privileged information.
That is why @rephaleystevens.bsky.social, @repericsorensen.bsky.social, Rep. Derek Tran, and I are introducing a new bill to stop this. (1/2)
Trump’s war is only making your life more expensive.
Trump’s war is only making your life more expensive.
Trump’s war is only making your life more expensive.
Trump’s war is only making your life more expensive.
Trump’s war is only making your life more expensive.
Regardless of who the next DHS secretary is, Congress still needs to pass guard rails to hold ICE and DHS accountable, stop their abuses, and keep our communities safe. (2/2)
Under Kristi Noem’s leadership, ICE and DHS terrorized our communities and abused their power. Her work in the Trump Administration should have been over a long time ago. (1/2)
Read my statement on the Farm Bill.
Republicans in D.C. gave huge tax breaks to people like Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk — when Congress really should be prioritizing American families and farms.
As Ranking Member of the Horticulture Subcommittee, it is my duty to support specialty crop producers.
That’s why I introduced an amendment to make it easier for specialty crop growers who want to expand their farms to do so while getting the crop insurance coverage they need.
Oregon forests are foundational to our state’s economy and character.
Congress must boost the development of innovative wood product technologies, such as mass timber construction.
These technologies not only support Oregon’s important timber industry, but also address the housing crisis.
On this day, in 1933, Frances Perkins was appointed by President Roosevelt as the first female cabinet member and served as Secretary of Labor.
During Women's History Month, and every month, we honor the many women who have made significant contributions to our country.
