Does anyone know how to get CSS Anchor Positioning to work with a transformed parent?
The green box has translate: 300px 0px; but Safari and Firefox ignore the translation for the anchored ul ๐ซ

I'm excited to share Screen Sizes 3
A major update with a fresh new design for faster navigation, rewritten guides, and supports the newest Apple devices
It's so nice when you are at the end of a long project and you can just design the new app icon ๐ฎโ๐จ
Expanding out the data that Apple Vision shows now it's more of a first class citizen in the app
Iโve been putting together some filters to help you keep Screen Sizes easy to browse as the list of models grows over time
Sheโs a skinny queen!
Really love how this is coming together. The sidebar with tabs is such a nicer experience on smaller screens
Making the little guide covers was a lot of fun too!
After going back to the drawing board I now have a general structure I'm happy with. I've been wanting to make the view options more obvious for a while now
Things are rough here but you can see how you can set your view options and then they carry through the app with you
Iโm still working hard on Screen Sizes 3 but Iโve had to go back to the drawing board a little bit on some things. Really want to get this right
I really like how your view options now follow you around the app. If you only want to work with landscape iPads that's now really easy
It's the little details like having separate icons for the display shapes in landscape
Screen Sizes 3 is coming along nicely. You can now view portrait vs landscape dimensions separately which cleans up a lot of the UI.
There is still a lot to do so unfortunately it will not be ready for the iPhone 17 launch this week
It's nice to be coding up some new features ๐จ๐ฝโ๐ป
Screen Sizes 3 will track your recently viewed and you'll be able to mark favourite models
They're little features but I think it will make Screen Sizes nicer to work with the ever expanding list of models ๐ฑ
All of the guides are complete. Now it's time to start working on the spec sheet
This is still a problem on beta 5. If Safari supported env(titlebar-area-x) I could inset my controls OR env(safe-area-inset-top) should account for the window controls
This isnโt an uncommon placement for websites and web apps. People often put menus here
Drawing new icon examples to show platform differences. The layering effects Apple now gives you are interesting, meanwhile Google offers no guidance on their preferred style these days
Bringing the Store Screenshots guide in to line with the style of the others and expanded it to include Steam and the Epic Games Store
Updated the Widgets guide. Because they are so expansive I've combined it in to a single page guide that makes it easier to compare the templates
So many ways a widget can be rendered now!
Starting to build out the Live Activities template filling it in with more finished content ๐
And with that I think it's time to start building Screen Sizes 3!
Expanding this same layout to the Live Activities guide. This is rough and needs some more explanation content but you get the idea
Made this table a little more comprehensive
Widgets sure do appear in a lot of places these days!
Refine refine refine
Getting closer to a spec sheet layout
