How does a company that advertises it uses AI tooling able to prove that all the work being done by its engineers meets that expectation? Git won't be suitable on its own. It'll be even more perilous for companies to do agentic style development too - because there's no way that it qualifies.

It's going to be a shitshow because I think the standard is that the parts produced by a machine aren't eligible for copyright - but the sections that have been modified may be - depending on a test of "substantive change" / "meaningful addition".

I want to clarify some things with my initial statement about not appearing as a Guest of Honor at Bewhiskered this year with regards to the harassment campaign and the concerning standard set by this series of events.
