Creo que esto es mas patente con Milei que con Trump. Veremos que pasa en las midterms, pero pareciera que se dio vuelta una parte importante del electorado. En cambio, en Argentina, la mayoria de la poblacion sigue hechizada.

Just because US is powerful and had the opportunity to dominate world culture that doesn't mean they are right. At the end, you don't differ much than Trump naming Gulf of America. Just bullies bullying.
My point is that the piece of land from Alaska to Patagonia was called America since the Europeans realized it was new discovered land. In 1776 some British colonies in America decided to join to form the USA. They might call themselves Americans and their territory America, but that's not OK
If you think that there two continents, then what is America?
When Europeans "discovered" America and realized it was a "New" World, they names that huge piece of land "America". They didn't know about the tectonic plates.
It does not matter if it is one continent or two. Even when they were five or ten, all the land going from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego is called America. Where do you think the name USA come from?
Where do you think that the name USA comes from? What do you think "America" meant before 1776? (And now for everybody living in the American continent)
Panama and Honduras are in different plates. India and Mongolia are in different plates. Nobody would say they are in different continents
The physical definition of continent does not matter. America is the piece of land "discovered" by Columbus. It is historical rather than geographical. Even being two conts, it doesn't make sense calling America to the USA.
And if there are two continents why the distinction between Central and North America? Let me guess: they don't want to be in the same continent as Nicaragua and El Salvador.
