-Great! Loved the simplicity of it and I found the story and lore really intriguing for a game in this genre. I haven't seen a lot of ppl talk abt the exploration, but imo it is AMAZING. There are so many secrets in each map. Only thing I HATED was the real time structure building.

I get that, but we'revastly overestimating how well Pokémon spinoffs sell compared to the mainline games. The best selling spinoff is Stadium w less than 5 and a half million copies sold and Pokopia is at over 2 million in four days. Its success is unprecedented for a spinoff in this series.

I remember reading this a few years ago and it shcks theh weren't able to secure more funding w other companies. $44m of additional funds is a LOT though lol esp for a new IP

One cool thing abt Pokopia is how it leans into the more distinct Kanto aesthetics that HGSS and especially Let's Go used for their version of Kanto. It's especially noticeable playing LeafGreen because the towns visually are definitely less distinct besides a handful.

If Tokyo Xtreme Racer came to Switch 2, it would genuinely be too powerful! This game is PERFECT for pick up and play portability and to my normie eyes it doesnt look too graphically intensive at all!

Just beat my 4th gym (Erika). My final team is coming together! Fully planning on replacing Raichu w Starmie or sum shi lol even tho it will make me sad. To be honest I forgot that FRLG has some genuinely amazing Pokémon variety lol I'm actually mad I can't use all the Pokémon I want lol.

Sandslash has always been a favorite of mine! Also, I've just used other ground types from this game way too much lol.

My current team right before Lt. Surge! Definitely plan to swap out Pidgeotto and probably Mankey.

Being forced to play LeafGreen in normal speed has honestly been an amazing experience even if it's super slow. Like, I actually feel connected to the world again and they aren't like PURE gameplay only experiences. I haven't felt like this since my first playthrough on GBA decades ago!
