i know how colour theory works and all but its still bogglin my mind how the weave fabric looks like its more orange/yellow depending on the dyed fabric on top of it

started putting together my chicken pillows but then i decided the white was too white and side quested to teach myself how to make plant dye.....
so many irons. so much fire.
from what i understand from limited reading in the past bpd is also often triggered into existence in (genetically) predisposed individuals (especially mid20s-30s women) after periods of intense stress... like, say, undiagnosed/unsupported autism. (which is to say yep, agreed)
tell/show me something youre making/ a project or essay or whatever youre excited about? im Tired TM and want to siphon enthusiasm for life out of other ppls whimsy

no where near done printing but wanted to mock one up while my wrist recovers
1st round on 2nd attempt (left) going better as far as keeping the pigments unmuddied/more saturated goes. i wanted to get a little of all the colours down instead of working dark-to-light. Stoppin now tho before i start mussin it up so it can dry for a few days.
convinced myself to print after work; hurt my wrist immediately throwin my body weight onto the press. rip. these are eventually gunna be pennants and medievally embroidered banners maybe

The play field even has tiny 3d bumpers, flippers, wire ramps/etc though it doesnt really come through on the photo sunk in the resin as it is.

i think the nicest thing to come out of my regression to old media lately is that i keep ending up painting at around 10pm and the local radio station we favour does a program of poetry and nature sounds at some old mans house and its so sweet
figure skating is hell to watch because why is the audience clapping a rhthym completely off beat are you tRYING TO FUCK THEM UP? why are you only cheering for spins and not the other WILDLY WELL TIMED KICKS AND TURNS like idk SHIT about the sport but THAT WAS ALSO COOL AND LOOKED DIFFICULT
i usually visualize things heavily but i find it harder to do with audiobooks in general, so i dont really notice a difference. Physical books play a whole movie while im reading but audio it come in fits and starts; i think more so because im using my eyes for something else at the same time?
i usually stick to 1.5 + the distortion past that definitely is too distracting. but if its slow my brain tries to predict + assume the narrative and stops listening and then gets distracted and it becomes background noise completely until i realize ive missed the last 10m.
Woodland mosaic no.17

Letterpressed poster advertising "I Looked for a Weapon and found only yogurt Anthology"
There used to be a reading and performance series in Iowa City called Anthology for which every event had a different title and UI Center for the Book students would letterpress print posters. It was a golden era.

It seems all Kansas-issued trans drivers' licenses are invalid, effective tomorrow
It is now illegal for trans people to drive a car until they surrender their license at a DMV (that most will need to drive to) and have it reissued with the wrong gender marker
This was never about woman's sports
