I'm actually not as stoked about this war as my posting might make it seem, but people on this website are obviously so eager to believe that Iran is going to win in real terms that they aren't engaging with real information.

I mean, I do think that the war generally is a boondoggle, but **not because operationally the US military or Israeli military is doing poorly**.

I still think victory is the most probable outcome.

It's an extremely critical difference in the framing of the violence. I never liked these movies anyway, but the fact that the wet bandits can walk away at any time is essential to evaluating Kevin versus Saw Guy

Nothing suggests that Kevin would ever have created these traps if he wasn't being targeted, or any suggestion that he will pursue.

The distinguishing aspect of the wet bandits is that they can leave at any time. You could make an argument for maybe the first trap, but after that, they are making a decision to continue when they could instead leave unscathed.

So a thing I notice is that if the war in iran were going *operationally* as poorly as this website wishes it were, I'd see certain titbits of information that I continue not to see.
