thank you. I am grateful to keep having opportunities to learn new things. They are definitely fewer and farther between these days so I savor them when I can!

Our shop band, Weird Machine, just released a new 2-song EP. Check it out if you like noisy, off-kilter, and occasionally bleak rock songs. wweirdmachine.bandcamp.com/album/defaul...
(Also, it is bandcamp Friday which means that all revenue goes to artists. Cool stuff.)
Our basement is an unorganized hellscape, so naturally nobody who actually lives here felt good randomly toggling unlabeled switches.
Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure my landlord has been paying an emergency plumber every winter for years to come in and turn a switch on and off.
The heat in our apartment has been failing every winter for years. Turns out, one of the light switches that turns on the boiler is also hooked up to the basement lights, so every time someone goes in the basement there is a 50% chance they turn our heat off.

You may ask yourself, "what's the deal with resonators?"
I'm still trying to answer that myself, but here's one nice example.

Silksong was a beautifully designed game, and the developers' love for their craft shines in every small detail. It also was right at the cusp of uncomfortable difficulty pretty much the entire time. Not sure I'll replay it any time soon, but the journey was worth the effort.
PSA: we have a discord that is friendly, inclusive, and full of some suspiciously smart/kind people. Also we have dedicated channels for dark souls and for seltzer. What's not to love? discord.com/invite/vWCru...
Thank you, that's really kind. Consumerism is all too common in the industry. If we're going to make stuff it has to actually connect with people and matter in the creative process.
Big restock this Friday (10/31) at 12pm ET! Longsword, Citadel, black wrinkle Halberds, and the new copper Surveyor (the original copper powder coat got weird, so we changed it up)
Available at EAE.ZONE/PEDALS
Hey Western MA folks! Our friends at Nocturnal Amplification were kind enough to open up their studio space to several New England gear makers as part of Eastworks Open Studios! We'll be tabling this Saturday, Nov 1, from 10AM to 5PM. We hope to see you there!
We have a new pedal out today. With it have come many excellent demos, but this one wins the award for heaviest EAE demo to date. www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPeR...
New thing out tomorrow at 12PM ET. Here's a teaser.

We've been combing through our old archives of short-form video and reuploading to youtube to make them more accessible. This Model feT vs Model T comparison, originally shot in 2022 and presented as a series of reels, felt worthy of a proper compilation with more context. youtu.be/Qox3FMV38l0
Question for people who are really good at math. Is there some kind of game/app/whatever that's like the NYT puzzles but purely for math problems? Has someone gamified remedial calculus/diff eq?
