I almost updated my ipad last night. But I remembered about planned obsolescence and how they make my ipad a little bit slower each update. I plan to never update if I can.

folks, what it is the latest libs you are using when creating solutions talking with LLMs, using vector databases and spawning agents in elixir? I feel I am behind with the latest tools.
I did this move to a Fold 6 and now a Fold 7. Couldn't be happier.
you can disable iphone by moving to an android one. LOL
Btw, all done with #elixir and #phoenixliveview
A lot to be done but I decided to share and I will update you here if you are interested.
A bunch of things to be done but it is in a usable state now. It is a task management that will help you create a performance review based on the company's values and objectives. You will have weekly summaries and quarter performance reviews made by AI for yourself, based on your tasks.
From Monday to Friday. No weekend work. (Ok, I did work some hours on it last weeked). And the project is starting to take shape. This week is the first week that I am using it. I lost count of the bugs that I already found it, it's not mobile ready yet...
As always, the year went by and I did nothing. But I was reading a post other day where the person said something that stuck with me: "If you work on your dream 1 hour a day. You will accomplish way more than you think in a year". So, last month I started to do that.
Last year, as you may know I created my first course in english. It was hard, I can't say the course is the best one that I've made but it was a great challenge. So I decided that this year, instead of a new course I would try to create apps that I need in my day to day work and life.
Despite the improvements, I stopped using Evernote, mainly because I don't agree with their business model. But it is still very impressive how they could push so many updates without the original team and with less people working on the project.
That's classic Bending Spoons. I have issues with their business model, but I have to admit, what they did with Evernote was impressive. They genuinely made the software better with a wave of updates just months later, and you can't argue with the results.

it seems the world is telling you to not deploy today.
this movie is top 10 for me. I watched so many times.
LOOOOOLL!
This is beautful. And so simple.
Queer people are scared. This is all you have to do as a cis het person to help take some of that fear away.
I've said it before, and I'll repeat it: The expulsion of expertise from government and academia during Mao's Cultural Revolution devastated China for decades, particularly in science and technology. That profound harm led the country to take education as seriously as it does today. wapo.st/3YTivKW
I am sorry Tyler. My condolences.
Oh my god! Super big already! Time flies. I am sad I will not get to see you again this time. Hope you have an awesome time in Braga.
What is happening there?
OOP programmers will ruin everything. LOL
Liveview code generation is good. I had to give some examples so it could generate the way I wanted to, but after that it was super smooth.
Aaron Scwartz was looking at over 30 years in prison for this, but he was making knowledge and information public. When it's tech oligarchs trying to make money, it's apparently not a crime anymore.

I wonder what do you think about it? When working on real projects, not pet projects, I usually research the problem really well and spend time thinking about it and I even try some solutions to compare. I mean, design is part of the solution before I start to code. What are your thoughts about it?
I was reading an article and the author made a really good point: "Increasingly, work becomes a design activity augmented by artificial intelligence, with the execution delegated to automation technology. Therefore, creative skills, design skills, and system thinking will only increase in value".
