In March 2024, I headed out to Hang's Tree in Strath Creek, Victoria, with some fellow photographers who share my love for photography. Our mission? To capture some photos of the night sky and the landscape. We spent the whole night there, just hanging out, chatting, and snapping away. It was so peaceful without all the city lights drowning out the stars. There's just something magical about being able to soak in the beauty of the night sky without any distractions.

We had a great solar storm come through on the 20th Jan 26, leading to an incredible Aurora Display.

There are really not enough photos to make a proper timelapse, and the exposures changed so it is a bit flickery and not perfect but it gives you an idea of the movement of the Aurora.
