Got a walk cycle going in @mohoanimation.bsky.social , pretty happy with this one! Feels great to finally get her moving after working on the rig for so long. Gonna work on some dances next - finally!!

This got me VERY interested in measuring the infrasound in my area, but I really don't know which device you mention in the video would be easier to use. The Raspberry Shake/Boom is pretty expensive, but it looks like Shake app does display the data as a waveform?
(20 years in the future when neural implant VR is making us all legitimately see mantis shrimp color spectrum)
"Yeah but have you seen PiggyNukka with freshly died hair and matching pants?"
You make pink look like the coolest and prettiest color ever, and that includes those secret mantis shrimp colors.
Zoe, a Latina goth girl, towers over the viewer and looks really pissed off. Her fists are clenched and raised up. Her shy friend Afterglow looks on from behind her with a shocked expression. Its implied that you, the viewer, just said something they didn't like.
POV: You made the mistake of catcalling at these two :O
(Hoping to draw more "quick" pieces like this as a character and worldbuilding exercise, would you all want to see more?)
As a former Flash guy I have really been enjoying Moho, not sure if you ruled that out yet. I just really like that it's good at shape morphs and precise vector point animation.
But yeah the workflow isn't gonna be the same at all sadly. It's at least a somewhat cheap one time purchase.
I have been doing a lot with the Liquid Shapes feature as seen here. Probably my favorite feature in Moho. I love using the negative shape version too, it's all over the place on her. Shoulders, eyelids, her boots...
Been hard at work on this Afterglow rig in Moho all month. I am trying WAY TOO MUCH and want her to be able to do everything lol.
Primarily I just want her to be able to pull of fluid dance moves. I think I am on the right track - just have to finish her bottom half and add hand swaps.
I love all these purple and pink hues! A pleasure for the eyes.
You're so talented at your costume craft and it's amazing to see your work each time.
I also think you're charming and beautiful while also being a gremlin. real big time goblin energy. You're proof someone can do both, it's awesome.
I wish your career treated you better, you deserve better.
Where can I buy this? I've got a friend who would be ecstatic over this!
Working on a few little dances for Afterglow. This turned out more like her just flailing around, I think I'll use either half of it as a transition between other dance loops to get her moving around the screen more.
And instead of inking and coloring this by hand, I'm gonna make a rig.
Omg amazing use of the tail pipes!
Coo the Owl design on a Paper Star
Jumping Flash! design on a Hop Star.

Having fun making custom Ride Machines in Kirby Air Riders!
Some are more successful than others...

Colored it! I added the big moon at the last minute to give it even more of a Sonic vibe, but that also throws off my lighting direction completely. Oh well lol. #drawing #goth #originalcharacter #artwork
#sonicadventure2
This started as a joke sketch to draw them doing Sonic & Shadow poses from SA2 but I actually really like this and can't wait to color it.
Goth Girls Adventure 2!
Have you tried Callipeg as well? That one is my go to and I'm curious how they compare.
My favorite part of 2D sonics is finding secret parts of levels by keeping up your speed and getting Big Ups. The higher you go the more fun stuff you find.
I would love more of that.
A few more! Kept busy while watching a lot of Elden Ring Bingo Brawlers this weekend. Doing character design and boards at the same time is actually kinda fun. It gets me posing the character instead of drawing endless floating heads.
Various sketches of Zoe, a stylized cartoon goth girl with long black hair and bangs that cover part of her face.
More development sketches of Zoe. Some of these are also storyboards for a script with her and Afterglow in it. I'll have to redo some of these with the asymmetrical bangs to see if I like that better.
I was going to make time for it this weekend but it's so close to releasing anyway, and I'm 100% going to buy it no matter what. I'll just do the boring adult thing and wait 😩
Designing some friends and supporting characters for Afterglow since I'm writing episodes for her now.
Here is Zoe! Going for a 90s mall goth look for her. Still developing but I like these early drawings.
The OG destroyer of innocence right here. I even was friends with / had a crush on a girl in high school who looked kinda like her. Short, strawberry blonde, autistic 😂😍 So this one hits deep.
I gotta see this please lol
"But sweetums, America is in.... Africaaaaaaa!"
Another good take from you lol. They destroyed the housing market and brought out the worst in people!
Nah this is a good take! This should not be an extreme take, this is just necessary for society to continue as we adapt to climate change.
Maybe try INVESTING more in that community that you are depriving of junior level jobs? Host workshops at local schools. Train these kids so they have AI handling knowledge and can compete. Don't just sit there with your pockets turned inside out.
I was insulted that they even asked this. Don't they know? Don't they have a plan? No, they don't.
Think of it this way: as a company invests more in AI, they also de-invest in their own community. There is a societal cost to using AI due to workforce reduction and it should be on them to solve it
The industry leaders speaking at a AI-focused event I just attended posed a question they can't solve to the audience: as AI reduces the workforce and asks for higher skill sets for employees, how is the younger generation not left behind?
They have no idea what to do here and that's terrifying.
