finished the bulk of the bookshelf. still needs trim/moulding. sanded to 120, raised the grain, sanded to 220, then pre-stained, and 2 coats of minwax oil based red oak. ill put the finish on after the trim is on. didnt have any mistakes on this first design, very proud of that!

first bookshelf build, feel like its going great. red oak, not stained yet. cord hiders, 3 upper shelves still go above the tv area

still need to transplant more plants over from my propagating tank but this is the new tank! ill probably swap out squidwards house for something more fitting soon

making bass traps for the new studio

my coworker is going to trinidad and tobago in a couple days for vacation to see gfs family. ive suggested postponing for several weeks based on the news but theyre sticking to their plan 🤷‍♂️

reupholstering my couch, what do yall think so far? it wouldnt fit through the door in my house originally so i had to cut it in half and reupholster as a modular piece. staining the new legs tomorrow

this is my first plant tank. advice and criticisms are welcome. 20x20x20 with base fertilizer substrate and a soil substrate capping that. im still waiting for a custom top i painted to dry this week. hoping these plants acclimate okay

been researching the last month getting ready for my first live plant/fish tank. this is the progress so far - 20x20x20 freshwater, fertilizer substrate base with a soil substrate topping. picking out plants atm. hoping to carpet the bottom. adding fish later
