If someone got it into their heads I was recording them with my plain old just blocks out light sunglasses and then smashed them, I'd probably just break down completely on the spot. After everything that's happened to me, I'd just start ugly crying and not stop for a very, very long time.
As someone who has had a pair of Ray Bans (just sunglasses, no "smart") for over a decade and a half and are one of the few really nice possessions I own, I live in constant fear of this attitude and some overzealous person breaking something I love that will cost $200 I can't afford to replace.
