Read the Constitution. Senators are not civil officers, cannot be impeached. May be expelled by Senate cote, but not after they’re already gone.

Thanks for sharing this- a wonderful piece.

Being the only blue (Dem gov & legislature) state to have a 287(g) agreement in place doesn’t help this situation-what are you doing about that?

They’re money coded.

I do peanut butter and Trader Joe’s fig butter- but the whipped cream sounds great!

Will you write about the Jordan Hicks deal?

It’s not a good analogy. This isn’t a 1 on 1 winner take all between 2 players. Schumer is working for his caucus and the country, and has to think longer term.

Stay sober. The atrocities of this moment can not be healed with a drink. The answers are not at the bottom of a bottle. The sobriety you fought so hard to have is worth holding on to.

Call your sponsor if you have one. There are online meetings you can attend. Talk to someone.

Keep fighting!

I am 77, marched countless times during the 60/70s. Speaking for myself, I had a feeling that we could change the world for the better. This is different. We are back on our heels for now but less naive. I was confident then, hopeful now.

She had a bunch of bumper stickers on her car also, and so could likely be cast by them as β€œfar left.”

Colon (punctuation) - Wikipedia

I'm no grammarian, but according to Wikipedia, the colon goes back before 1589, way early enough for Shakespeare. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colon_(...

Douglas has played less than 30% of snaps this year in a mediocre receiver room. With that salary, is he tradable?

No problem -I appreciate the apology but it’s unnecessary. Class is a tricky thing in the USA, and education is a big part of it. The working class is hard to escape, and I’ve always been proud of still having some dirt on my roots.

I was the 1st in my family to graduate HS, much less attend college- went to a mostly commuter school on Long Island. My old man was a milkman- my peer group might have been pathetic to some, but we needed all the help we could get. Some of us did OK.

I am 77 years of age (probably older than you). I did not take SAT prep courses, but knew many who did (I bought a book with sample tests). I graduated (late 1960s) with loans that took years to pay back- I was by no means the only one in that jam.
