ASCA is one of the five Research Schools within the Amsterdam Institute for Humanities Research (AIHR). Very cool postdoctoral opportunity on an ERC project looking at 'Art and Liberation Movements during 20th Century Decolonization'. werkenbij.uva.nl/en/vacancies...

Friends! Do you teach/ design assessments in humanities subjects that tend to engage writing as a form of assessment? Have you been exploring new ways of doing this in an age of ChatGPT rather than returning to exams? If you would like to share your experiences in UL in April, please let me know!

Very happy with this cover for ‘Irish Culture and Partition, 1920-1955’, which features a detail from Evie Hone’s stained glass window 'Four Green Fields'. This window was originally shown at the New York's World Fair in 1939, but is now found in Government Buildings on Merrion Street
