Going live with more Demon's Souls. It's been interesting to see all the small things I've forgotten in the decade since my last actual playthrough, and to get to draw attention to the neat details I do know.

Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog dressed as Queen Yarnham and Micolash respectively. Miss Piggy is large and waist up in the background. Kermit is full body in the foreground running.
My partner asked me to draw this after discussing how Kermit and Micolash are both just goofy little guys anyway here share the joy/suffering

This is real Caves of Qud advice:
SPIRIT ISLAND: Five player game: Rampant Green, Burning Plague, Volcano, Wildfire, and Shadows. We won on Difficulty four against Hapsburg Livestock with the Varied Terrain scenario. Lesson Learned: Plague Ships Sail to Distant Ports slams games shut.
Burnout 3 is underrated as one of the very, very best games of all time because you can show Burnout 3 footage to people two decades later and their reaction will still be "hell yeah, this rules. I wanna play this right now."
[Guitar Solo] Uh-huh See ZZ Top Live Get tickets as low as $70 You might also like making the bed Olivia Rodrigo the grudge Olivia Rodrigo all-american bitch Olivia Rodrigo [Verse 3] The blue coat and brown hat And I don't worry 'cause my pony's fat Yellow boots, Goldberry Singin' songs, makin' merry [Chorus] They come runnin' just as fast as they will 'Cause every hobbit crazy 'bout Tom Bombadil
ruislip ogre administering eucharist would be like: "This is my body! These are my booooooooones!"
Beware the giant centipedes
The giant writhing centipedes
With which the darkened woods ahead are rife
Against the centipedes
Those monstrous crawling entities
You'll need something much fiercer than a knife
this is scary
A drawing of a titanite demon from dark souls except theyβre pink and their halo and staff both are shaped like hearts
Happy Valentineβs Day from the titanite demon that lives in my heart

Wolves Upon the Coast
ETHNOS: Terrible name, great game. Trolls, Dwarves, Giants, Skeletons, Halflings and Orcs - the troll tiebreaker ability felt strong. My Orc horde carried me to a win. Lesson learned: this is the perfect weight game for that gap between dinner and hanging out around the fireplace.
It's so good! Unforgiving in a way you rarely see in modern boardgames.
KEMET: Closest Kemet game I have ever played. I took a balanced approached with the pyramids and never upgraded to level 4 in any color. I won at the beginning of my turn with all players tied at 9. Lesson learned: Prayer Points and divine intervention cards are just as important as big creatures.
REX: We went to the 8th round and the team of three thought they won via the Hacan victory, but they didn't understand the Sol player's rules so my battered team of two won in the end. This game rules. Lesson learned: look strong early to be an attractive potential ally when the opportunity arises.
ARCS (2): 4-player game that went to chapter 5 and probably should have started earlier. I thought I was going to score big, but I underestimated how many trophies could be taken in the final chapter. Lesson learned: next time I draft Gate Ports I'm leaning into it and becoming the table Tyrant.
ARCS: First time I've played 3 player. This player count might be my favorite - the lack of the 1 and 7 cards make the cardplay feel much sharper to me. I had a commanding lead and I blew it with a poor ambition declaration. Lesson learned: sometimes not scoring is an option.
CAPTAIN SONAR: this has been unplayed on my shelf since 2016 and I manually got 7 other folks together to play. We played 4 games and it was absolutely magic. Lesson learned: Sonar is stronger than Drones. Our team won 1 out of 4, but the final game could have gone either way.

i drew some paper minis for my upcoming irl dolmenwood game
Any statement that characterizes what we have all seen as somehow unclear enough to require a "full investigation" before we can call it "murder" is not merely insufficient and craven β it is harmful and it gives the murderers cover to murder more people.
I watched and talked through a playtest of this game and I can tell you: this shit rules.
I am releasing COMMONWEALTH, my dying earth social-climbing simulation, NEXT WEEK.
