Unfortunately, no. This is not the actual setups by the students, which was a bit more improvised as they made it as part of a open lab course project. They presented their results as a printed poster and the setup in the video is just our reproduction to share the idea.
Our students came up with a creative solution to measure a force with a smartphone and phyphox.

Did I talk too much in the workshop? No, they are using the accelerometer in their phone and @phyphox.org to measure their heartbeat. Lying still with the phone on your chest gives very detailed data.

A level physics demo - dropping a magnet through a copper tube. This time with a force sensor data logger so we can measure the extra downward force in the copper tube as the magnet falls within. DIY Bluetooth sensor in 3d printed case that streams the data to @phyphox.org app. #iteachphysics

Today we say goodbye to Jens after handling our public outreach for more than 5 years. While we're sad to see him leave we are optimistic to see more chances to work together in the future.
