World Bee Day celebrates the bees. Here you see a Heriadus truncorum.
Without the bees, our ecosystem would collapse. Because plants: the core of earth's ecosystem, can't exist without the pollinators. So let's celebrate our tiny friends today, on #WorldBeeDay! 🐝♥️
18 million native flowerseeds. Together with thousands of citizens, this is the amount of seeds we distributed a week ago across The Netherlands and Belgium. We can wait for a government that's not taking action for the #natural world, or we do it ourselves 💚
Yesterday on Earth Day, together with thousands of citizens and companies, we sowed flower seeds to compensate for the food shortages of bees. Seeds that contribute to #biodiversity and nature regeneration. Seeds of hope and change for a better world. We are very grateful for this massive support 💚🌎
Today thousands of feedbanks for the #bees have opened their doors for people to pick up native and poison free flowerseeds for free. This way we, together with thousands of citizens and companies, massively sow flower seeds on the 22 April to compensate for the food shortages for bees 💚
Not only our pollinators but also dragonflies show a severe decline due to global warming. Over the last fifteen years more than 25 percent of the dragonflies has dissapeared. Global warming has a devastating impact on the biodiversity all around the world.

Dutch platform @hetkanwel.bsky.social wrote a nice article about why we, The Pollinators, do what we do. How it all started with 25 feedbanks for the bees, grown over the years to thousands of them. Sowing flowers on Nationale Zaaidag and how we celebrate this beautiful day 💚🌸 And much more.. 🐝

With food shortages for #bees, every year on 22 April we, together with thousands of citizens and companies, massively sow flower seeds. Begin April feedbanks for the bees will open their doors for the neighbourhood to pick up the seeds. From today citizens can registrate to become a feedbank 💚
Midwinter in the UK, Bumblebees are already start building their nests, the BBC writes. Nature's rhythm, including that of #bees, has been disturbed by global warming. Resulting in a high risk for the nests, because of the lack of food and the possible cold harsh weather.

Wintertime. The wild #bee awaits lonely in its little hole the spring. At the end, the males fly out to await the females who are still asleep. To mate and build a nest for the female's egg.
