This time six years ago, I still had to go into the office, but only every-other week.

I wrote a book depicting COVID and the shutdown, but it garnered zero traction (rounded up).

I completed 'Dungeons of Hinterberg'. This game worked so-so for me.

I enjoyed the stylized graphics and the exploring, and all the unique dungeons. I did not enjoy combat and the social system

Roasted veggies. Nothing so easy should be so ridiculously good. Roast them in garlic oil, and they get even better.

Gonna need a bigger beer budget.

Wrapped up Caravan SandWitch. It's a cozy explorer with no combat and stylized graphics. I enjoyed my time with this game.

I enjoyed my time with Monument Valley. It's an interesting puzzle game with an amazingly flexible engine.

Gave Descenders a try. The game is downhill mountain bike fun. Unfortunately, my eyes didn't like it. It has a learning curve, being less arcade and more simulation.

Understood. Right now, transit is subsidized at 2:1 (more or less) while autos are subsidized at 9:1. Meanwhile, we have literal decades of required highway infrastructure work that needs to get funded.

If you can figure something better, I'll take it, and you'll become world famous.

We have a new member of the family. Welcome 12 year old Luna. The daughter of her previous people became allergic to cats, so we have lovingly provided a new home. #cats

This problem is deep and entrenched. During the Obama era, we elected him, then stood back and expected him to win all our fights. We didn't have his back. We didn't show up. We wanted our own strong man because we'd bought into it.

Public records are defined by law. News is likely not a public record. Instead, it's a type of temporary or transient record. Plus, web sites change anyway. And yes, you are correct, relying solely on the government to preserve data is a flawed strategy.
