Agreed. Another one is “Let it Loose” - While trying to parse the lyrics I came across this - “For such a significant song, its origins are sketchy: “I think Keith wrote that,” Jagger has said. And Keith’s reaction to that? “I would never take Mick’s recollection of anything seriously,” he says.

Two shows I recall from student days , Stevie in ‘84 at SUNYUB SpringFest and Joni Mitchell in ‘83 with Tom Scott and Jaco Pastorius at Shea’s Theater. “playing Woodstock alone on an acoustic she goes to the very edge of the stage, strolls' across it, exits, still playing, as the lights come down”
Fall is just around the corner up here.
From the art auction at the Montage a few years ago.
Up on the northern border I’m having a not bad day, winding down a bit, listening to Let It Loose from Exile on Main Street. So sympathy, it’ll get better. It will.
I have an old '99 CLK320 A little capsule with a Bose stereo and a 6 CD player in the trunk. Moonlight miles is a favorite. On an early hitchhiking trip to Newfoundland, in front of the Parliament, getting off a bus, Mick Jagger was sitting there on a bicycle. No mistaking him. A good trip.
I first heard Jim back in the early 70's. Just put Band of Gypsys on the old Pioneer turntable a few minutes before jumping in the '63 Caddy Limo and driving to Newfoundland for a family vacation, 15 or 16 at the time. Still have the album.
Enjoying the weather.
