So sorry, my friend.
Damn. So sorry to hear this. Syriaca was a lifesaver on my last book.
Damn, you got a lot of author copies!
I like that manuscripts preserve the quirks of writing by actual peopleβmistakes, accidents, changed minds. Thereβs a real
empathy that comes with looking at a manuscript.

The decline of democracy comes at the hands of unregulated big tech. Vanceβs bewildering accusations against the EU and Ukraine aim at dismantling the regulatory institutions that keep tech companies in check.
Good question. We havenβt discussed the timing of accepting proposals at this point. Sofia is the lead on this, so I donβt want to speak for her, but I would imagine we will have responses out by late Mayβmid June by the latest.
We are open to stretching the boundaries. We had discussed the rise of Islam as a kind of end point, but we purposefully left out such defining language. Weβre definitely open to Christian-Muslim and/or Jewish-Muslim interactions!
Sofia has confirmed there is no website, unfortunately. But if you have more questions feel free to reach out!
Let me ask Sofia about a website (sheβs the lead in this workshop). I will get back to you!
I think we would be VERY interested in Zoroastrian perspectives! Most of us organisers work on Christianity, but our main interest for this workshop is in how dominant groups βotherβ minority groups. That said, weβre also interested in how minority groups respond to such treatment.
Send in a paper! Itβs going to be a great conference!
What a book launch! Thanks to @albertorigolio.bsky.social for introducing us and to Aaron Butts for leading and commenting so nicely on the book.
Huge thanks to @zoxe.bsky.social, G Kiraz, A Cherkashina, M Farina and H Mutzafi
