Do we share every last morsel with everyone? What does it change?
I write out those stories, but choose not to share them with older relatives who knew the subject. Maybe it's just me.
Genealogists and family historians discover and uncover many stories the details of which are sometimes scandalous.
We know stuff.
This blog series will come in handy after accumulating new knowledge and a drive to work on our family history more after a week of RootsTech! www.amyjohnsoncrow.com/making-good-... #RootsTech #Genealogy #NotAtRootsTech

"Every genealogist has at least one moment when something finally *clicks*. It could be breaking down a brick wall, discovering a long sought-after record, or seeing an ancestor in a new light. This is a good week to write about this discovery."

Always read the entire newspaper--not just the obit you happen to find first. Your eyes (or full-text search) may miss things. #genealogy
