1 Sharks are awesome

2 Sharks are not a threat to your safety

3 Sharks are ecologically important

4 Sharks are highly threatened

5 We can still save them- but it matters what we do, don’t reinvent the wheel, follow experts!

At the same time, you can feel the tension in the document. Imagine thinking that decoding & fluency are opposed to the "enjoyment of reading, writing", when, of course, decoding & fluency are the very basis of such enjoyment. Old whole language prejudices die hard, I suppose. #bcedchat #bced
