#ThinSectionThursday A Japanese Eclogite that was retrogressed to amphibolite and whose omphacite was transformed into barroisite. Lots of phengite and some garnet around as well.

Very excited to cut into some rosebud agate from @rosebudagate.com this weekend or early next week. New saw blades on the way! I'll even be doing a test cut of some alibates flint I got from him as a sample as well! Good things are happening and moving forward slowly but surely!

Having ADHD and an abundance of beautiful rocks to polish is difficult as fuck. 😂🤣. It's like. I start this one and get it to the finishing stage but then another one catches my eye and I start that one. Now I have so many I've started on so many different stages 😂.

Another @rosebudagate.com update!! So I rinsed all the agates after their vinegar bath and finally went through the rosebuds a little more. I found this one small piece of rough that I took a diamond grit hand sanding pad to and then popped the UV light on it and omg! #rockhound #agate #rosebudagate

These close ups are of a piece of rosebud agate I got from @rosebudagate.com one side is white and brighter and the other side is dark anddddd it's got this cute little botryodial pocket. I have them cleaning in vinegar atm so I will show them off properly in a couple days! Go grab some rosebud!!
I got to meet Kool Keith once. A rapper friend brought me to New York so he could record a track and we walk in the studio and Kool Keith is there laying down his verse. It was a really kool experience. Sadly that hard drive of footage and photos got corrupted years ago😭
