Goodnight My Love by Jesse Belvin who died in a suspicious car crash in Arkansas after leaving an integrated concert. One of my favorite bedtime tunes. #50smusic Good covers by Ray Peterson and Paul Anka. youtu.be/DMK3R8ALK8s?...
The song may be 1.5 stars but the photo is good.
The commodity builders have slowed way down here in Nashville. Not a complete stoppage in housing starts but there isn't much action for sure. Which is a good thing because it will help bring inventory in balance.
Did you also drink at the Sports Bar next door when you were underage? Some of my friends went there during lunch hour at Central.
Like the legacy Bud Light sign.
That's one of the few thing these guys have done that I agree with. It's an outdated law, eliminate it permanently.
And the stock market was at $50,000!
Good for him.
Looks decent for a "strip mall" Mexican restaurant.
Agree, OpenAI doesn't have nearly the revenue or cash flow to fund Oracle's infrastructure buildout. The best thing that could happen to Oracle is to be able to walk away from that deal.
Great stories this week.
Many of Jamesβ songs had spiritual undertones and much of the public didnβt realize it. Heβs was/is a very talented and interesting person.
Thatβs you best piece ever.
Dude is toting a Polaroid camera.
That's a good set
I know many people in my age group (born 1961) who have low 7 figure to low 8 figure balances in their retirement and brokerage accounts; real estate and equity appreciation have been great for the last 35 or so years. So it worked for some of us; granted not everyone's situation is the same.
That story is going to get more attention fairly soon.
RCP is biased toward Republicans. I kinda believe the trendiness but the base needs to be adjusted. Strength in Numbers has better methodologies in my opinion.
Stick to your allocation strategy and rebalance at your normal intervals (I do it quarterly after all dividends are realized).
Higher gas prices is a βfirst world problemβ
The Hamm's signs are collectables and are worth several thousand dollars.
Maybe it's changed but to fully experience Hoops you need to be there after midnight. I assume the night bartender with the killer mullet in no longer there? Spent a few late nights in that place - fun memories.
Do those hotels have bars? I think some do. If I were stuck there I'd be making friends with the bartender rather quickly.
Cozyhollow does great work.
Hollywood Waltz is possibly my fave Eagles song. Literally itβs about an aging actress but figuratively most interpret it as a criticism of LA excessss. Written by Bernie and Tom Leadon in 3/4 time with mandolins, tempo changes and Henleyβs superb vocals #70smusic youtu.be/13inAzr-vak?...
Thatβs my favorite article of yours. Great work by you and your editors.
Extended mix of For All We Know by The Carpenters. Karen is one of my favorite singers; not many could dwell in the lower range but transition up and octave so cleanly and effortlessly. This video has a longer intro that accentuates the oboe part. So good. #70smusic youtu.be/XqZGUwwq4SU?...
