On this day in 2020, Louisville police officers shot and killed 26-year-old Breonna Taylor during a no-knock raid in the middle of the night in Louisville, Kentucky.

Thinking a lot today about how much of that disablism comes from people who identify as progressives and fail to understand how disablism, eugenics, and larger histories of oppression are deeply tied to one another. That includes, BTW, disabled people who fail to engage with overlapping oppressions.
