I'm trying to make cool collageish art now, this is the first thing I've made yesterday

If I was turned into a book like in Library of Ruina it would just be Shimeji Simulation with a few random pages inserted that are just depressing vocaloid lyrics

I actually just watched a playthrough of that recently, I really liked it and might actually get it and play it myself, thanks for reminding me it exists

Just remembered I played YTTD and have been spoiled on Omori and Needy Streamer Overload, plus a few non VN games I love are Yume Nikki/2kki, OFF, Ib, a lot of other RPGMaker games. Rain World, TBoI, Rabbit and Steel/Maiden and Spell, and most psychological/environmental horror games.

Does anyone have any recommendations for good visual novels to play when depressed, preferably obscure? I've already played and loved the Projectmoon games, Milk Inside/Outside a Bag of Milk, VA-11 Hall-A, and probably more I'm forgetting, and I've been spoiled on stuff like DDLC and Saya no Uta.

Arts hard and most of what people show off is their best work after years of practice. I know it's frustrating making stuff you're unhappy with but you need to to make things you like, and if you need tips just ask, I'm happy to give advice if you want it, either for art or how you feel abt it.

The compression on pixel art is apparently really bad here if it's lowish resolution, I'll make the images bigger in the future so it should look better.

Thanks, I think I'll take a break for a bit but I probably will try again sometime and hopefully will be able to make something somewhat ok, I also need to try out different styles probably cause the one I'm trying rn is really hard for me even though I like it

I suck so much at drawing, I wanna keep trying but whenever I try to draw anything vaguely humanoid I just can't get it to even slightly resemble what I have in my brain and it's so demotivating that I'm actually considering just giving up on drawing as a whole...

I just realized, because the Index’s main mechanic in LoR was singleton and that wouldn’t work well in Limbus, if we get Index IDs, I doubt they’d all be proxies, so there would need to be ones with no blade unlock, so there’d be a chance we get a new mechanic for the Index and im excited

I want so badly to be able to draw in a similar artstyle to Si_ku’s, surreal and somewhat unsettling art like that is so interesting and beautiful to me
