I keep thinking about getting Sonic Frontiers when it's on sale. What do you think about that game?
I love Resident Evil man. There is not another series that I connect with as much. Just the best
I'm actually impressed with how well the Switch 2 handles Requiem. There is an obvious visual downgrade & I did notice some slowdown when playing as Leon but I have been completely immersed once again exploring Rhodes Hill. It looks great considering what it's running on
I always feel like even with the cut sections if they just expanded the beginning part & let you spend more time exploring raccoon city proper, it would have been so much better. More persistent Nemesis like Mr. X, less scripted
I really wanted the finale of Eternal to include the Mech because you see it in Doom Slayers HQ. I think others probably did too so they slid it into Dark Ages where it wasn't really needed

The look I give my coworkers when I suddenly play Dragonforce over the shop speakers after we've been working in complete silence
I started my Requiem playthrough on Switch 2 last night ๐ I can't stop fellas
On my podcast circuit they've mentioned that there is no combat of any kind in the game, it seems it's mostly exploring and building but I haven't played. I'm kind of in the same situation where I want to buy it for my gf but shes not really into pokemon. She loved animal crossing though
Let's be real. The motorcycle part was dope
I took a screenshot of that shit immediately
You cannot take Resident Evil 100% seriously. The second you start searching for plot holes or pointing out the silliness you're missing the point. It's an action/horror B-movie. The camp is part of the charm. It's like thinking too hard about Evil Dead
The way Requiem Deluxe & Generation Pack immediately sells out when they come back in stock makes me think getting those Amiibos is going to be hell lmao
Yes it's very frustrating. I've been called "MAGAmatt" before in those circles & if you know me even a little bit you know that is very far from the truth lmao
The worst part of the far left is you can agree with 95% of what they believe but you will be shunned if you disagree slightly with one thing
Resident Evil Requiem: story expansion in development.
Additional content also coming: a photo mode, a "surprise" in May, and a mini-game
Gimme that sweet sweet Requiem DLC. If we get Mercs, they better let you play as Zeno
Geez I love this game ๐
Yeah that's how I'm feeling too. Not enough time to enjoy it the way I'd like to
Being able to cancel mid reload & just use what you've got in the gun with rifles & shotguns is something I took for granted in Requiem. Not having that when going back to RE 4 Remake is jarring. Requiem has some damn fine combat. That hatchet is badass too, I miss that
I think my next big game purchase will most likely be Pragmata in April. Crimson Desert looks great but I don't really have a craving for a massive open world right now. It might end up being a holiday break game
Man it took me so many tries!
Yes! I watched a guide about that. I didn't do it myself, it's pretty crazy. I was very curious what those extra items that seemed to do nothing were before I learned about it
Yeah, me too. I think they did a great job on the story & I loved all the nods to older games. The gameplay is awesome too, just doesn't hit that high of 4 imo. But that's a very high bar. I'm going to replay 4 & Village & I'm sure my thoughts will change somehow lol
Yeah, I'm really looking forward to seeing what the DLC ends up being
I spent 35 hours with Requiem over 4 playthroughs. I feel that it's in the top 3 games but I have criticisms. I do feel that 4 (OG & Remake) is just so hard to top when it comes to weapons, bosses & upgrading. I love hunting for treasures & the merchant too. I missed those things in Leon's section
I saw people getting it in the first weekend! No idea how people do it
