Hug me, mother of noise.
Find me a hiding place.
I am afraid of my voice.
I do not like my face.

Jailed for refusing to abide by FDR's Exec Order 9066, he took his case against internment all the way to the Supreme Court - and lost. Remember him on Korematsu Day, January 30th. 1/

It's not quite the most pressing issue at the moment, but the American people absolutely have a right to know the names of the federal officials who shot and killed a man peacefully protesting, who was on his knees, prone in the street when they shot him in the back.
I wrote about my childhood friend Alexi Pretti. Please read it and share it and remember him as a human being. @theverge.com
Look, it's been hard for me to figure out how to talk about the difference between healthy masculinity and bullshit, weak, fear-based control fantasies, but BOY HAS THIS WEEK MADE EVERYTHING MORE CLEAR.
here's a video from this afternoon in Eden Prairie MN of ICE agents camping out as a bus stop.
Again, this is terrorism.
This is the BEST explanation I have seen so far.
Chuck Grassley has been an elected official since 1958 and a Senator for 45 years. He is the longest serving Senator in office. He chairs the Judiciary Committee.
Isn't Tom Homan that bagful of cash guy?
These words demand attention.
βIn a real sense this is holy ground, consecrated by blood spilled here. The cost is high, and so I had to be here to stand in the very place where this tragedy unfurledβ¦ I think weβre at a defining moment for our countryβ¦β ~ Rev Warnock

People mocking the baggy suits for an easy laugh, but riddle me this wiseguy: how else are you carry $50K in cash bribes when you have been told to stop using your CAVA bag?
This mid-afternoon Alex Pretti vigil at the Portland VA was not heavily promoted. But the crowd probably stretches a quarter mile or more. Americans are galvanized and grieving.
This is mind bogglingly mad. He is a charlatan.
ICE is terrorizing people in so many communities. Vile. The economy is hurting, if that is one metric that one pays attention to. Most importantly- this is domestic terrorism.
At the very least, Congress must disarm ICE, prohibit it from using racial or ethnic profiling, end arrest quotas, remove agentsβ immunity from criminal prosecution and civil lawsuits, and slash its funding. The Senate has the chance to rein in ICE this week.

Trump claims ICE's Minnesota raids β which have already killed two Americans β are justified to root out "fraud."
Meanwhile, he's pardoned multiple convicted fraudsters, including several who gave money to his campaign and Super PAC.
The "law and order" president.
I would like murders to the list of crimes committed by ICE. Accountability now.
Amazon Web Services hosts massive surveillance systems for both ICE and DHS.
Citizens Bank provides nearly $1 trillion in credit & bonds to private prison companies.
AT&T has a $147 million contract to provide communications services to DHS.
Know who is profiting from ICEβs cruelty.
