You can use AWS SES as a relay. It's very cheap, and easy to configure.
I've run my own server since the nineties and keep configuration (less secrets) available for all to see. Not gonna lie: it's tough, but email gets delivered, it's not an open relay, and I've never been subpoenaed in all that time.

We got an EV, because I don’t charge enough things as it is.
Those benches are simply permitted advertising spaces; they serve no other purpose (such as sitting). If people sat on them they would block the advertisement, so they're intentionally placed where people don't sit.
Most municipalities allow them, but will remove them if asked.
