I keep telling myself I want to be an animator. Well, this year, I figured why not get started. So I'll be making one animation a month, however long or, in this case, short. #animation #sketch

Brand new year, brand new opportunities. I've been spending the last year, and then some, following Blender lessons and trying to understand it. I didn't give myself room to work on any 2D art projects. So y'know what? That's the first thing I'm doing this year, opening up an old project I started!
I figured I'd do some #retopology for the head I made in #blender. I might adjust things for when I get around to the mouth area, since I want it elastic enough for bigger expressions.
I tried making a head sculpt in my drawing style in #blender I feel I still got a long way to go, but I still wanna take pride in my progress so far. Maybe at some point, I'll learn how to animate this thing.
Completed a course for #Blender I learned a lot, and got a lot to learn. Right on time for 5.0, too!

It's awesome to me that it's gotten a lot easier to share these tricks to others out there. Plus the frustrations we used to have playing it the first time around returning to newcomers.
I've noticed people posting exploits in #Oblivion and people getting mad about it. Like "naturally people find these hacks just as it comes out, ruining it for everyone". Dude, they're not new, it's almost 20 years old. And no one says you have to use them.

I finally got around to watching The Wild Robot. I gotta say, it made me ugly cry. Fantastic and beautiful movie, worth the watch.
Interesting how in #MHWilds when you capture a monster to end the hunt, they eventually wake up and leave. Is this the passive way to end the fight now? Since they're no longer a threat to their surroundings?

Recently finished this cartoonish demon's head as part of some #Blender lessons. I'm sure I still have much to learn, but this was a lot of fun! I'm excited what more I can make in the future.

Been learning how to use #Blender. I made this guy following some lessons I got. Seeing this is my first time with #animation in the program, I think it turned out pretty okay! It'd be nice if the loop was a bit more smooth, but I guess that's all part of the learning process.
