Sam Raimi has done a lot of work with his brothers Ivan and Ted. Not sure why he's never done anything with his sister, Doe.
We now must determine which animal Churchill hated most and put that on the fiver instead of him.
Or put Elizabeth Fry back on them.
Ooo, yes please. Itβs surprised me how much Origins 200X cartoon collection calls to me.
But but thatβs context!
!!!
Two more episodes of the Dalekβs Master Plan?! Making for a run of the first three?! Fantastic!
Ed, this is ridiculous. He wouldnβt have been kept on the notes in the next series anyway, just like Fry, Nightingale, Dickens, Elgar and all those before him. You know this. Stop being a prat to impress the flag-shaggers.
Iβve given it some thought and I think the bank note animals should be:
Β£5 hedgehog
Β£10 red squirrel
Β£20 that pig David Cameron fucked
Β£50 pipistrelle bat
Finally beat Hades with that damn bow.

PUT SWEEP ON A BANKNOTE, COWARDS
I was researching whether to get a certain model of resin printer yesterday and so much of my time was wasted by AI slop misrepresenting the specs/capabilities and video βreviewsβ that just regurgitated the marketing copy from the manufacturer.
This is hilarious.
Also, completely enraging.
The troubles
Penultimate episode of my Reporter Blues English sub is up today, which I had some fun with in giving a better title: The Princess Bride.
(Which, in my defence, better describes the episode than the European titles, which are mostly about the Orient Express, which is barely in the episode).
Obviously it sucks that Colbert was cancelled for nakedly political reasons but, really though, the Late Show isnβt a good format. Vastly inferior to the Colbert Report. And the way the band leader does obnoxious musical stings during the monologue? Awful.
Natalie Fleet MP on Sky News right now sounding entirely earnest yet ridiculous saying that itβs desperately important for rape victims that they get trials without juries because itβll be (allegedly) quicker. Oblivious to the obvious that a quick trial doesnβt necessarily mean a fair one.
I would not have guessed that.
Who is that left of Captain Planet? James Bond Jr?
Iβve mostly enjoyed The Floor on ITV but it kind of fell apart with the end game. Ultimately Iβm not sure the tactical format and the actual game really go together that well long term. Itβs somewhat arbitrary in who actually succeeds.
First race of the new era of F1 was interesting. There's been a lot of sniffy comparisons to Formula E in the build up and I don't think that's accurate (or fair - FE is great). In practice what it reminds me of more than anything is F-Zero.
Theyβve always had a big problem with platforming without challenge any politician who deigns to pay them attention, regardless of their voting record. Anna Soubry was their darling for a while despite repeatedly voting against disability benefits, a key value of the show.
I swear theyβre getting worse. Probably being trained on their own output in listings.
Optical illusion of a woman bent over some papers. Her sunglasses are pushed up and she is wearing a hair band so the top of her head looks exactly like a Muppet face
Sorry I know the world is in a terrible fix but I've been laughing at this for ten minutes now
I rewatched Firefly, for the first time in years, a few months ago, hesitantly. But it held up really well imo. Lack of Asian people in a future where everyone speaks Chinese was weird but beyond that fun.
A revival though? Eh.
Even Serenity felt kinda off and that was only a few years after.
Because the game theyβve made generally isnβt very good.
