Not Torrin, but same type of critter. They are fox-dog looking tall lanky ass spirits of some kind. Or fae maybe. They live a very long time and live pretty scattered around. There aren't that many of them. Anyway this is just a random one to practice their shapes.

Brush pen experiment

Shifting away from the paint pens in my little sketchbook. I'd rather use actual paint, I love the paint pens for shrinky dinks, which I make a lot of, but too much time is spent building up layers with it on paper. I can do things quicker with other media, and I'm itching to use brushes anyway.

I have such a special interest for art as a whole, and as an artist Ive always delighted in trying new things. I have a fun time adapting the things I already know to things I'm learning.

Oh and BOOKMAKING!!! I'd love to make my own sketchbooks someday, and be able to do simple binding of my own little books and zines and such. Also hook related - edge painting! Seems so cool!!!

I'm making a bucket list of mediums, crafts, and art forms I've never done or done very little, that I want to try in the future. High on the list are stained glass, CERAMICS, and more sculpting in general - masks, dolls, sculpture.. puppets...

Honeybees are the dairy cows of bees. People brought them over from Europe to make us honey.

The problem with honeybees, esp in resource-limited ecosystems (like hey! cities!) is that they compete with our native bees for food.
