The Iranian regime was wobbling during the protests. Trump could have financially/practically helped opposition figures. It might actually have worked, but he never gave a damn about Iranians. The most effective & least dangerous path to regime change was blocked off by his lack of empathy.

I don't think it's gonna come as a galloping shock to anyone who knows me that I did not pick 'Wildlife' in the consultation, & did pick 'historical figures', but I just find it wild to read politicians declare that they think 60 per cent of respondents to the Bank's consultation don't like the UK.
