I've finished another set of turnaround sheets! These designs are a bit more complicated than the last two, so they have quite a few variants not shown here! I'm reworking the website for Tales of the Afterworld right now, and when it's done all version will be able to be viewed there!

Turnaround sheet for an anthropomorphic ferret that is wearing a dark red cloak and a belt with a bag hanging on the right hip.

This is really cool! I like the detail of the time being 1985!
I'm using a lot of new techniques for my next animation that should help the characters stay more on model, as well as massive improvements in the quality of backgrounds!

With this animation I'm trying out a much more detailed storyboard, which so far has worked really well for me! It helps me get a much clearer idea of the end result way earlier in the process. The 3D backgrounds also help a lot, and will be used for reference to make the 2D backgrounds in the end.

This time, I’m actually layering each layer of animation on top of each other in Blender to create actual shadows, resulting in a much more realistic look!
In some of my older animations I tried to replicate the shadow that was created when layering cels in physical cel animations, mostly seen in older animated media. I did this by duplicating the color layer, setting it to black, and making it transparent.
