I also think transitions will be key in this game. #CFC is actually the team with the second most shots generated from counters, so I hope we manage to convert them in this game

I go over the main talking points of tomorrowβs game here. Check it out:

Chelsea have started turning things around after that shock Ipswich loss, showing signs of inspiration again.
Their next big test? Man City tomorrowβthe same team that handed them a 2-0 defeat on opening day.
How far has Marescaβs system evolved? Tomorrow will tell.
#CFC
Pedro Neto, Jadon Sancho and Noni Madueke really need to step it up
Although Madueke has scored some goals, most of them come from the two Wolverhampton games.
Chalobah and Cucurella have scored more this season than Sancho and Neto
Chelsea heads to the Etihad for Round 23βa big test for how much Enzo Marescaβs system has grown.
In the first leg, Enzo Fernandez played as a #10, Cole Palmer was on the right. Now, with Lavia out, Maresca is still searching for answers in midfield.
#CFC #MCICHE
Very good piece, I also feel the same way. Chelsea's biggest weakness at the moment is in midfield. Caicedo simply cannot cover by himself, and Enzo is not dependable defensively.
Tough to find a solution, especially for the upcoming City game
I go over and analyze this game in-depth, for more info and discussions in my latest piece:

β Not so good stuff:
- Sanchezβs mistake costs us a goal, but he also saved an important chance by Cunha
- Playing Cole Palmer centrally does not work, heavily limits his influence
Thoughts?

Letβs talk about Chelsea - Wolves
β
Good stuff:
- Chalobah is back, defensively solid, scored⦠sorry, assisted Madueke
- Reece James, most progressive passes in the game, tied with Matheus Cunha
- Winless streak ends, Chelsea is back in top 4
- Good control of the game

What a return it has been for Chalobah to Stamford Bridge. MOTM and extraordinary performance, this is the kind of defender Chelsea Needs!
#CFC #CHEWOL
Although Wolves had only one shot on target it was enough to get even. Sanchez is not having a great day today.
Chalobah meanwhile looks solid in his first hame back in a Blue shirt
#CFC #CHEWOL
Chelsea pushed in the first half but Wolves started pressing the gas pedal in the last 15 minutes.
Both goals scored from a corner with Chelsea edging xG 0.98-0.7.
#CFC #CHEWOL
And so far in the game, he looks solid back at the Bridge π₯

Lineups confirmed against Wolverhampton, Cole Palmer and Reece James are in π₯Ά
#CHEWOL
So far, Jadon Sancho has only two goals from an xG of 1.16 and 4 assists while succeeding 2.2 dribbles per game. Madueke has the most involvements: 5 goals and 3 assists.
Pedro Neto scored only once this season and has two assists in the Premier League.
#CFC
Enzo Maresca calls on wingers to be more present in front of goal tonight against Wolves.
With Chelsea having the 3rd-best attack in the league, Maresca wants more goals from players like Pedro Neto & Noni Madueke to improve results.

Usually, this duel is with lots of goals but also fouls, so expect some action, especially after Chelsea won 6-2 in the first leg, with Noni Madueke scoring a hat-trick.
There are a few doubts for Chelsea, biggest one being Cole Palmer. #CFC #CHEWOL
Chelsea looks to regain their form after dropping out of Premier League's top 4.
Meanwhile Wolverhampton are just above the relegation zone and three points would start putting some distance between them and Ipswich
#CFC #CHEWOL
Happy birthday to Enzo Fenandez π΅π
Some of his highlight stats this season
β½οΈ 3 goals
π― 4 assists
πΉ 2.1 key passes per game
π₯ 8 big chances created
#CFC
Cole Palmer, attacking the half space, made a central run, together with Enzo who also dragged his defender centrally.
Jackson timed his pass perfectly. Palmer was composed and scored.
#CFC
Cole Palmer's goal was spectacular but it was Nicolas Jackson who put Chelsea in a huge advantage.
By squeezing the ball between three opponents, Chelsea basically bypassed the entire Bournemouth midfield. So the 4v4 against their back line now turned into a 5v4 with Jackson joining.
#CFC
Honestly, when the free kick came, I was 100% sure Cole would shoot, even though the position was perfect for a right foot shot.
Forgot that Reece James is amazing at set pieces and hopefully he will stay away from injuries this time
#CFC
100% sell Disasi, man gets β¬95k per week, played twice as right-back and conceded in each of those games π
It's really funny because I remember that Enzo said that we have Dissasi and Tosin and while Tosin was solid, Disasi was far from that.
The recall is a bit of a silly affair but overall is a good decision, imo.

Nicolas Jackson showed us a throwback of his younger self, by failing to convert on an xG of 1.11, the second highest in the game, just behind Kluivert.
Jadon Sancho succeeded the most dribbles in the game while Enzo Fernandez was Chelsea's biggest creator with 7 chances
#CFC
Chelsea dominated the first half and completely overpowered Bournemouth, but yet they managed to score only once.
Substituting Romeo Lavia changed the dynamic, leaving gaps in midfield, which Bournemouth lethally exploited.
#CFC
A dissapointing second half where Chelsea didnβt end the game in the first half and paid the price, but salvaged late by James.
Bournemouth equalized early on with a well taken penalty and took the lead by taking advantage of a build-up mistake.
